My Story
I’ve always felt more at home outside than anywhere else.
I grew up at a Trans Mountain Pipeline housing site near Edson, Alberta.
My days were spent in the bush with the neighbour’s dog, watching ants build entire cities and listening to frogs like they were putting on a concert.
Dirt, trees, rivers, mountains… that’s always felt like home.
And so has being around people who work hard for a living.
My dad was an electrician/instrumentation technician.
My one brother is a plumber.
Another one is a millworker.
My partner, Eddy, is a welder/ironworker.
So this world… it’s not new to me.
Alongside that, I’ve always had a pull toward helping people feel better.
I just didn’t see myself in the typical routes.
The medical system never quite matched how I viewed health.
I’ve always been more interested in understanding the whole picture… not just managing symptoms.
So I built a path that lets me do exactly that.
My life hasn’t been a straight line.
I’ve worked on the pipeline, bartended, raised kids, run businesses, and rebuilt things more than once.
Like a lot of people, I’ve had to figure things out the hard way.
Health was one of those things.

In 2016, after my marriage ended, I hit a breaking point.
I was exhausted, overweight, and trying to keep up with life while raising an athletic daughter who needed better from me.
So I started small.
Walks in the river valley.
Then stairs.
Then eventually boxing and Muay Thai at 39… terrified, shaking, but doing it anyway.
With the right support, my body started to respond.
Until it didn’t.
In 2018, everything stalled.
Iron deficiency, no energy, training stopped… and the weight came back with a whole new level of frustration.
That’s when I stopped guessing.
In 2019, I started studying nutrition because I needed answers.
Not just for me… but for people who feel like they’re doing everything right and still getting nowhere.
At the same time, I’ve spent a lot of my life close to addiction.
Not always my own… but in the people around me.
I’ve seen what it does.
And I’ve seen what it takes to come out the other side.
My partner, Eddy, is a recovering alcoholic. I was there through the hard parts and into sobriety. He’s been sober for over 6 years now.
I’ve also spent time in Al-Anon, learning what real support looks like from the other side of it.
And one thing I’ve seen over and over again is this:
Getting sober doesn’t automatically fix how your body feels.
Cravings shift.
Energy crashes.
Everything can still feel off.
That piece is often missing.
And it matters.

Since then, I’ve built the tools to actually help people through that.
- Natural Nutrition Clinical Practitioner
- Metabolic Balance Coach
- Certified Functional Nutrition Coach
Not just from textbooks… but from real life.
What I do now is simple:
I help hardworking people figure out why they feel like garbage.
Cravings.
Low energy.
Gut issues.
Hormones.
Weight that won’t budge
I connect the dots so your body actually starts working again.
You don’t need to try harder.
You need to understand what’s actually going on.
If you’re ready for that, I’m here to help.
