“What’s in a name? That which we call a rose by any other name would smell just as sweet” Juliet proclaims in Romeo & Juliet (by the way, I love Shakespeare). Sometimes the name is irrelevant, other times there is so much more! In Wild Blue we see the latter.

First, the colour blue…
To me it represents many things. My Grandma Lora who loved blue sooo much that her house was, well, BLUE. The counters, details in the floor, the furniture, the bedspreads… if she could get it in blue, I think she almost had it.
My mother, who also loves blue, too. Not as much as her mother, but it’s still her favourite.
My hair. My hair has been blue since April 1, 2017. It’s now a part of me and doesn’t feel right without it.
The mountains and rivers. My favourite place in the world. Depending on which one you are looking at, varying shades of blue.
My boyfriend… a maritimer… the sea.
Plus I like the calm and tranquility that blue brings.
And the word Wild, what is THAT about?!
The word “wild” to me denotes the wilderness. A love of nature. A preference for the woods and mountains over the city. A rebellious nature. Which pretty much describes my inner being. Plus the fact I’m really resistant to typical domestication.
